As someone who has travelled to Playa del Carmen, Mexico several times, I can say without a doubt that choosing a hotel with a view is worth the extra money. The turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea and the bright white sand beaches make for an unforgettable backdrop, no matter where you are in the city.
